CITIZEN SWARM PRIVACY POLICY

Citizen Swarm knows that you take your privacy very seriously. We are committed to giving you transparency in our privacy practices and control over your data, in connection with the Citizen Swarm Service (as defined in the Terms of Service of Citizen Swarm).

This Privacy Policy covers the way in which Citizen Swarm handles personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") and any other type of data that Citizen Swarm collects when you access the Citizen Swarm Service. The Service is not available for people under 13 years.

1. What Personal Information does Citizen Swarm collect?

    

   • Personal Information that you provide to us: We receive and store any information that you enter into our Service or that you provide to us in any other way. Types of Personal Information may include your name, email, cellphone number, birthdays, Facebook usernames, usage information regarding your use of our Service and browser information. We automatically receive your location when you use the Service. The Personal Information that you provide is used to allow you to create a user account and profile that can be used to interact with other users through the Service, improve the content of the Service, customize advertising and content you see and communicate about promotions and new features. We may also use this Personal Information to adapt the Services of our community to your needs, to investigate the effectiveness of our network and Services and develop new tools for the community.
   • Automatically Collected Information: When you use the Service, Citizen Swarm automatically receives and stores information in the logs of our browser server or mobile platform, including your location, IP address, cookie information and the page you requested. We treat this type of data as Non-Personal Information, except when we are forced to do it in another way according to the applicable law. Citizen Swarm only uses this information in aggregate form. We can deliver information to various agencies of the Federal Government; as well as any public instance that has signed a Collaboration Agreement with ICES for the proper attention of emergencies of the population and other jurisdictional bodies in compliance with the requirements that in the exercise of their powers carry out, in addition to other transmissions provided for in the Law of Protection of Personal Data.
   • Location without using the App: Since Citizen Swarm is a security app, you can activate an alert without having the app open or in use, so it is necessary to have permission to access the location in the background without using the app, in the same way an alert can be activated with a physical button and is an essential part of the Safe Transport service so that the people you have previously selected can monitor your location in real time.

    

2. How is my information shared?

   Personal Information about our users is an integral part of our service. We will not rent or sell your Personal Information with anyone. Citizen Swarm may share your Personal Information or emergency data only with various Federal Government agencies; as well as any public instance that has signed a Collaboration Agreement with ICES; for the proper attention of the services provided by this application, likewise, it can send you exclusively relevant information about the application Citizen Swarm®; to the data registered in our database via whatsapp or email.

    

3. Security

   Your Personal Information from your Citizen Swarm account is linked to your mobile device where you entered the verification code. You need to prevent unauthorized access to your mobile device and Personal Information by properly protecting your mobile device.

                     

   Citizen Swarm strives to safeguard the information of its users to ensure that account information is kept private. However, Citizen Swarm cannot guarantee the security of user account information. Unauthorized access or use, hardware or software failures, as well as other factors may compromise the security of user information at any time.

                     

   The Service may contain links to other sites. Citizen Swarm is not responsible for the privacy policies and / or practices of the other sites. This Privacy Policy only governs information collected on the Service.

4. Safe Transport

   Citizen Swarm, in order to provide the Safe Transportation service, request that the user take photographs of the driver and vehicle with plates, in which they will be moving, these images as well as the data of each trip used by the user in this application, it is presumed that they were taken with the consent of the people involved, as well as the owners or carriers of the vehicle where they will provide the trip monitored by Safe Transport, these images will be kept on our servers for a period of 30 days, after which they will be deleted from the system, so ICES company will not be responsible for the safekeeping of these images after these dates, any request for this information must be taken over by the corresponding legal instances in order to request it by these means.

5. Witness

   Our Witness service includes images and videos that Swarm members share with the users of this application or with the corresponding authorities in case there is a prior collaboration agreement, with these organizations, so that information cannot be requested economically or without prior request by the respective legal channels.

                     

   Likewise, the information sent will be kept on our servers for 180 days after which it will be deleted from our system, so there is no legal or commercial responsibility on the part of ICES with the users of Citizen Swarm that sent their images or videos ti this service.
